In this episode, we speak to Tom Nicholls, former Gold Coast Suns ruckman drafted as a "spaghetti-armed" 17 year old (his words...) to play AFL at the highest level.
Injury was an unfortunate but somewhat consistent part of Tom's career, something he speaks candidly about with regards to his mindset whilst training and playing.
We will hear Tom talk about his experiences as an AFL player, the challenges he has faced both in his career and in his personal life and the strategies he has utilised to overcome these.
Tom has recently retired from the AFL and is excited to begin the next chapter of his life, and we are so very proud to have spoken to Tom for our debut.
