Today our chat is with AFL legend and leading advocate in the Mental Health space, Wayne Schwass. Through his own lived experiences Wayne has developed a great understanding and empathy of Mental Health issues, and the alarmingly common rate in which it exists through Australia.
Wayne’s passion and commitment to suicide prevention and mental health awareness through his organisation ‘Puka Up’ is to be commended and there are no signs of it slowing down in the future. We are truly honoured to have had the chance to talk with Wayne about his own Mental Health journey, how we should engage our mates in these conversations and that no one should suffer in silence or with judgement.
